Our feet give us our mobility. Yet we take them for granted. That is, until something goes wrong. Maybe that's why you are here, at Active Life Podiatry, one of London's most up-to-date podiatric practices.
Broadly, our work is threefold:
Prevention: We spot problems before they get serious. We analyse how people walk or run. And, specially important, we check the development of children's lower legs and feet.
Treatment: We treat all sorts of foot and lower leg problems: infections, injuries, growths, misalignments, stresses, muscle and tendon tears and congenital conditions.
Performance Enhancement: We help and advise athletes who want to improve their performance by gait analysis, checking their footwear and, if necessary, creating bespoke orthoses (insoles).

In short, we keep feet fit for the extraordinary burden your life places on them.
The human foot and ankle is a strong and complex mechanical structure containing 26 bones, and 20 muscles, and over ligaments.
